Our New Dog

We wanted to get another dog to play with our Golden Retriever. We've been checking the ads and looking at the shelters. Looks like we may have found the dog we were looking for, online.

He's half Golden Retriever and half Australian Shepherd.

We're changing his name, probably to Kimber or Strider.

UPDATE: We named him Kimber, after Dave in Texas Michael's pistol.

Comments:
Kimber?

Great looking dog!! Lucky dog and lucky you!

That is a great looking dog.

And, Kimber is a great name -- except, you have to feed yours.

Well, food. That is.

Half-golden half-aussie shep? He will aggressively herd you to the place where he wants to sit on your lap.

Good doggie.

Congratulations Geezer family. I once had a half Australian Shepherd and half Irish Setter. He was a little slimer than your Kimber and was all red except for a white streak down his chest. He was the smartest and best dog I ever had, except for the weekly trips to someone's pig farm on the edge of town he would take on his own. He was my wife's dog then. I stole his name though.

An example of his smartness? He was shot on three different occasions (presumably all at the pig farm). Twice with a shotgun and once whith what appeared to be a .22 size hole. The smart part? They were all in his butt.

lol Festus.

He seems like part of the family now. There were a few tense moments around the cats but I think it's all good now.

Cute dog. Mutts are the best.

Even Spudder?

O/T

I've been meaning to tell you that I played bingo on my cruise with a very attractive young lady who just so happens to be a deputy sherrif in your county.

I'd watch my speed if I were you :)

Lovely looking Dog!!!

Happy Easter Holiday Mrs and Mr Geezer

(( hug ))

What a great tail! How cool would it be to have a tail like that?

Full disclosure;
I've been offered a free firearms training course at Front Sight in exchange for posting these links.
Since I've already taken one of their excellent courses, I jumped at the chance to get a free one.
